            <p>
                Couldn't help but think of you this morning. Went to a "coffee morning" at an Irish neighbor's home + she served <emph rend="underline">lemon meringue pie</emph> w/ coffee + tea. It was delicious.
            </p>
            
            <p>
                We hung some family pictures in the hall upstairs (incl the bank one you gave us) + Jonathan goes bananas everytime I carry him by them. He's a busy fellow - has picked up one of Phillip's bad habits - jumping on the bed! That will less nerve-wracking when he learns to watch

                out for the edges.
            </p>
            
            <p>
                We have been very chilly this week. Edw bought some peat briquets to use w/ the coal in the fireplace. Fires are really nice late at night when the furnace has cut off.
            </p>
            
            <p>
                Hope your Xmas gifts get there - incl one for Pam + a nightgown for Bet also.
            </p>
            
            <p>
                Edw says hurry + get your passport so you can come to visit us! I second that idea.
            </p>

                Need to get this in the mail w Xmas cards going over.
