            <p>
                Glad you phoned today - have been quite slack about writing letters - have been extremely busy. We kept Laura's 2-1/2 yr old son Jamin 16 days while she + Michael travelled to Israel. He got along fine. I got bad sore throat + had to take another antibiotic which puts me completely under. Jonathan got very disjointed toward the end. The evening he left our good friends (Chef + wife) from elegant Dromoland Castle came for dinner - had a nice time. Jonathan adores Noel the daddy - he played with him lots. On Mon 15th painter arrived + worked for 8 days. We spent 2 nights in co[mpany] apt to avoid confusion + clutter. (One night at Ryan's Hotel in Galway for getaway)
                <pb n="2" />
                He left in time on Tues am for LLL [La Leche League breast-feeding group] friends to come over to price/organize goods for bring + buy for benefit sale. Had nice evening - about 40 folks came for coffee + to buy articles. Made &#163;120 profit - thought very successful. We're still getting tidied up from painting confusion.

                Decided during the weekend to take extended trip home this summer. Renewal is still indefinite but hopefully we'll know by time I leave for the trip.

                Phillip is busy with 2 new activities. Runs with neighbor fellow + other kids on Sat a.m. Goes to cub scouts on Wednesdays.

            <p>
                Jonathan is getting to be a 4 yr old - quite out of bounds + aggressive when he gets told "no". Is really enjoying his play grp. Have also found another source of daycare. This lady who keeps Jamin while Laura works d[own]/t[own] in the family business. She's a dear friend + Jonathan enjoys being there.

                It's very late so will close. Look forward to seeing you Easter!
